About

Who Is Eli Crane

Eli Crane is a veteran and an ex-Arizona entrepreneur who was elected to Congress in 2022. A resident of Oro Valley, Eli Crane has never permanently resided in his district. Crane touts himself as a successful businessman, yet his former company Bottle Breacher has been known to defraud customers by accepting payment for products that are never delivered. Furthermore, he admits that he took the idea from another person without giving them credit or a stake in the company.

Since taking office, he has proven untrustworthy by failing to take any action on critical issues for our state such as protecting our water resources and cutting healthcare costs. Moreover, he has actively worked to pass legislation to harm Arizonans including:

  • Voting to cut veterans health benefits by over 22%

  • Voting ‘no’ on tax breaks for Arizona families

  • Sponsoring legislation to repeal tax relief for Arizona homeowners, eliminate $10 Billion for Clean Energy and cost the state 13,000 jobs.

  • Vocalizing support for a total nationwide abortion ban, with no exceptions for rape or incest, and sponsoring legislation to prevent women in the military from accessing abortion care.

Crane’s priorities don’t line up with Arizona voters’ priorities. And the actions he takes in Congress consistently break promises he made to voters and hurt everyday Arizonans.

Crane On The Record

Crane referred to black service members as “colored people” on the House floor and said the military “isn’t a social experiment.”

Eli Crane's Dark Money Ties

In 2022, several dark money organizations spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to elect Eli Crane to Congress. These organizations are funded by billionaires who are trying to purchase influence over American lives. The billionaires funding Crane's campaign are:

Richard Uihlein, Owner of Uline Boxes and Schlitz Brewing.

Uihlein is an ultra-conservative ideologue who has pushed election conspiracies since 2020. Since 2016, Uihlein and his wife have donated over $250 million to conservative, dark money groups supporting candidates like Crane.

Most notably, Uihlein is a top donor of the Tea Party Patriots, which was founded by Amy Kremer, one of the leading organizers of the "Stop the Steal" rally which sparked the Jan. 6 attack on our capitol.
